Alexandros Parmakis was born in Nicosia, Cyprus, on 19 June 1979. He has studied Law at the School of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, upon achieving the highest admittance score. He continued his studies with a Postgraduate Master’s Degree on History, Philosophy and Sociology of Law, Summa Cum Laude. He is PhD Law candidate at the University of Athens.
He became member of the Athens Bar Association and was appointed as lawyer at the Court of First Instance of Athens in 2005. He was later promoted to the Athens Court of Appeal in 2009 and to the Supreme Court in 2017.
Already from the beginning of his career, he dealt with major cases of Civil, Commercial, as well as Criminal Law.
Besides practicing law independently, during the period 2011-2018 he has also been Legal Consultant of companies in the sectors of Industrial Production, Agricultural Produce, and Renewable Energy, taking over cases of advanced difficulty and expertise on all aspects of Law, i.a. Commerce, Companies, Criminal, Civil, Procedural, Environment, International Contracts.
Today, all the while being an active barrister, he is Legal Consultant for technology, internet, and communication companies, as well as for trade companies of pharmaceutical and para-pharmaceutical products representation.
He speaks English, French, and Spanish.
He is married and has two children.
